Meet Maggie, lpc

Support for life's big shifts, new chapters, and new versions of you

I’m a Pittsburgh-based therapist specializing in anxiety, relationships, and achievement pressure.

I want you to truly hear this:

Needing support doesn't mean you failed, it means you're paying attention to yourself.

At the core of my approach to therapy is that we're all doing the best we can with the tools we've been given.

I love coming alongside you to help expand those tools, whether that means learning new ways to manage what you're navigating, challenging intrusive thoughts, or simply having someone in your corner who truly listens, understands, and cheers you on through it all.

Because every client is different, I don't rely on a single approach. I draw from somatic and attachment-based work, paying attention to what's happening in your body as much as what's happening in your thoughts, and how your early relationships shaped the way you connect with people now. Sessions are collaborative and paced to you, never rushed, never one-directional. And for clients who want it, we can weave animal-assisted interventions into our work together, using your own pet's presence to support nervous system regulation and connection.

How I work

Central to my therapeutic approach is meeting you exactly where you are, not where you think you should be.

In our sessions, we'll spend time understanding not just what's going on in your life, but how it's showing up in your body and nervous system. I'll bring practical tools and real strategies to the table, but you'll always have a say in what we focus on and how fast we move.

Over time, we'll build a toolkit that's specific to you. Maybe that looks like learning to manage anxiety in the moment, building your capacity to handle intense emotions as they come up, or working through the same patterns that keep showing up in your relationships, over and over. And if it's helpful, we can even bring your pet into the mix. Therapy with me isn't about following a script. It's about figuring out, together, what actually helps you feel like yourself again, and becoming who you're meant to be.

Therapy with me is…

01 Honest

I won't just tell you what you want to hear. You deserve honest, caring feedback, gentle but real, so we can actually move forward together.

02 collaborative

You're the expert on your own life, I'm just here to help you access what you already know. We figure this out together, not me telling you what to do.

03 practical

Real strategies you can actually use between sessions, not just an hour of venting with nowhere to go. You'll walk away with tools, not just talk.

04 Individualized

There's no cookie-cutter treatment plan here. Everything we do together is shaped around you: your goals, your pace, your life.
